Remember when people got dressed up and went out? From left, Collective Music Group’s Rex Zamor and Yo Gotti, 42 Dugg and Ryan Press, President of U.S. A&R, Warner Chappell Music.
Warner Chappell has inked 42 Dugg to a co-publishing deal. The Detroit native is signed to Yo Gotti’s CMG label and Lil Baby’s 4PF imprint.
Last year, Dugg was featured on the double-platinum single, “We Paid,” from the deluxe version of Lil Baby’s chart-topper My Turn.
“This is 42 Dugg’s moment,” said Ryan Press, Warner Chappell’s President of A&R, U.S. “His performance on ‘We Paid’ has earned praise from fans, fellow artists, and critics alike, and I believe he’s well on his way to becoming one of the industry's next big stars.”
42 Dugg’s latest album Free Dem Boyz, dropped last week and includes collaborations with Roddy Ricch, Future and Lil Durk, among others. In the past year, he’s also placed features on songs from Meek Mill, Big Sean, Marshmello and T.I.
We totally dugg it.
