At Top 40, congrats are in order to Columbia for getting the big closeout, with all 180 stations on BTS’s "Butter" on impact. The seven-piece becomes the first international group to close out the U.S. Top 40 panel on release week. Republic brings in 115 impact adds on Marshmello’s "Leave Before You Love Me" f/Jonas Brothers. Interscope post 86 stations on Olivia Rodrigo’s "good 4 u" (Geffen) on their official add date. Warner pulls in another 19 adds on Anitta’s "Girl from Rio" and puts 9 adds on Nessa Barrett’s "la di die" f/jxdn. Epic has three in the Top 10, stacking 16 more adds on DJ Khaled’s "I DID IT" f/Post Malone, Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby & Lil Baby (WBT/Roc Nation), 13 additional stations on REGARD’s "You" f/Troye Sivan & Tate McRae (Min. of Sound/Capitol) and 10 more on GIVĒON’s "Heartbreak Anniversary" (Not So Fast). RCA pulled in 16 additional commitments on Riton X Nightcrawlers "Friday” f/Mufasa & Hypeman and closing out the Top 10 is Interscope's second entry with Kali Uchis’ "telepatía" (Virgin EMI).
Meanwhile at Rhythm, there was a lot of new music action this week. Interscope’s J. Cole picked up 42 adds on “my.life” with 21 Savage & Morray, which was followed by Capitol’s Internet Money pulling in 35 commitments on “His & Hers” f/Gunna, Don Toliver & Lil Uzi Vert. Columbia’s posts 25 stations on BTS’ “Butter,” while Epic’s DJ Khaled grabs 21 adds on “I DID IT” f/Post Malone, Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby & Lil Baby (WBT/Roc Nation). Warner’s Anitta also sees 19 stations come aboard on “Girl from Rio.”
And at Modern Rock, RCA’s Dennis Blair had a huge first week with Bleachers’ “Stop Making This Hurt,” which easily took the Most Added honor! Other winners this week include Arista’s KennyHoopla & Travis Barker with “hollywood sucks//” and Columbia’s The Neighbourhood with “Stargazing.”
