FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

Eric Church banks a second consecutive #1 debut at iTunes on Flipover Friday, while Moneybagg Yo proves popular in sales and streams.

The final album in Church’s trilogy Soul (EMI Nashville) opens atop the iTunes album chart as last week’s release, Heart, pumps its way to #8. The six-song &—yes, the title is an ampersandwas released Wednesday to members of his fan club.

Moneybagg Yo’s fourth album, A Gangta’s Pain (CMG/N-Less/Interscope), is the lone new arrival, making its way into the Top 10 on both charts, landing at #4 at iTunes and #2 at Apple Music.

Speaking of iTunes, KALEO’s Surface Sounds (Elektra) opens at #2, Justin Moore’s Straight Outta the Country (BMLG) is #3 and Porter Robinson’s first album in seven years, Nurture (Sample Sized/Mom+Pop), cradles the #5 slot.

The self-titled debut from L.A. rockers Dirty Honey is #7; Dinosaur Jr.’s first album in five years, Sweep It Into Space (Jagjaguwar), is #9.

And iTunes songs has a new #1: Matt Cooper’s self-released “Ain’t Met Us Yet,” which had a head start on social media before going on sale.
