RIP, LARRY ROBINS

Larry Robins, who spent more than 50 years managing music talent, actors and voiceover clients at his One B management company, died on 1/23 after a long illness.

He moved to L.A. from Toronto in 1968, then set up shop working with Natalie Cole, Peter, Paul & Mary, Cher, Delaney & Bonnie and others. Most recently he was executive-producing a series for Netflix called Sex/Life.

His wife of 40 years, Catherine, is among his survivors.

For more than 35 years, Robins could be found among the early morning regulars at the Original Farmers Market at Third and Fairfax. A friend and benefactor to many, Larry knew everyone in town and was happy to get anyone into a venue or restaurant. He didn’t just talk it; he walked it.
