Ritt Momney "Put Your Records On" (Disruptor/Columbia)

Longing for the soft, feel-good vibes from Corinne Bailey Rae's mid-00's aesthetic? New buzz act Ritt Momney delivered a sweet, alt-pop cover of her hit "Put Your Records On," which has exploded on TikTok and DSPs. The song also led to a record deal with Disruptor/Columbia.

The Salt Lake City band's cover is connected to makeup videos on TikTok and began taking off in late August. As it blew up on TikTok, Spotify tagged it as Viral and it rose to #1 on that chart by mid-September. It now has over 400k videos within TikTok, with nearly 400m views total.

Subsequently, "Put Your Records On" started climbing inside Apple Music and Spotify's Top 200. Following placement in Spotify's Today's Top Hits, it just reached a new peak of #34 in the U.S. It's now earning over 1m daily global streams on Spotify.
