BIGGEST DEBUT OF THE YEAR

Grade A/Interscope's Juice WRLD has landed the biggest debut of the year with his posthumous album, Legends Never Die. The set bows at #1 on the HITS Top 50 with 508k units in total activity (210k albums).

Juice's first week also include another milestone, the year's largest streaming week with 390m on-demand audio streams. The album now ranks in the Top 5 all-time streaming debuts.

Legends Never Die is the largest debut since Taylor Swift's Lover (Republic), which debuted at #1 with 867k in August 2019. It’s the third biggest posthumous debut in the modern chart era, trailing only Notorious B.I.G.’s Life After Death (690k) and 2Pac’s R U Still Down? (548k).

Victor Victor/Republic’s Pop Smoke slides to #2 in his second week, as his own posthumous set Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon tacks on another 108k following a chart-topping bow last week.

The next top debut goes to Summer Walker for her EP Life on Earth (LVRN/Interscope). The five-track set enters at #7 with 30k.

Greatest gainers include Juice WRLD’s first two albums, Goodbye & Good Riddance (#12, +17%) and Death Race For Love (#26, +15%), along with Rod Wave’s Pray 4 Love (#14, +22%). Wave’s single “Rags2Riches” (Alamo/Geffen/Interscope) exploded on DSPs this week.

Streeting this week are projects from The Chicks (Columbia), BUSH (Zuma Rock), Ellie Goulding (Interscope) and a deluxe edition of Jhené Aiko’s Chilombo (Def Jam).
