FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

Lady Gaga rides high on multiple charts as Chromatica (Interscope) finally arrives this flipover Friday. Lil Yachty’s Lil Boat 3 (QC/Motown/Capitol) is the top new arrival at Apple Music.

Gaga’s Chromatica opens at #1 at iTunes and #5 at Apple Music, while two or her songs are #1 and #2 at iTunes: Her collab with Ariana Grande, “Rain on Me” sits at #1 followed by “Sour Candy” with BLACKPINK. The clean version of “Sour Candy” is #7.

Lil Yachty’s Lil Boat 3 is the top new arrival at Apple Music, docking at #4 early Friday morning while it sails along at #30 at iTunes.

The only other collection to make it into both Top 10s this morning is the second album from Anuel AA, Emmanuel (Sony Latin); it’s #7 at iTunes and #10 on the streaming chart.

Back at iTunes, where we find an all new Top 10, Jimmy Buffet cracks open at #2 with Life on the Flip Side (Mailboat) followed by Kip Moore’s Wild World (MCA Nashville) at #3.

Kygo’s third studio album Golden Hour (Ultra/RCA) dawns at #4 ahead of Alec Benjamin’s self-released These Two Windows at #5 and Freddie Gibbs & The Allchemist’s Alfredo (ESGN/ALC/Empire) at #6 in addition to being #17 at Apple Music.

Bethel Music Revival’s In the Air (Bethel Music) drifts in at #8.

Gemini (Baseline), from Schitt’s Creek star Noah Reid, signs on at #9 followed by Vegas rock act Palaye Royale’s The Bastards (Sumerian) at #10.

The biggest shocker this flipover Friday is at #3 on iTunes songs where Britney Spears comes in with “Mood Ring.” It’s a 2016 song that previously only appeared on the Japanese deluxe edition of her album Glory, and now it sits behind only Lady Gaga.

Also new is Dolly Parton’s quarantine-inspired “When Life is Good Again” (Butterfly), which makes its way to #10.
