SPOTIFY STOCK SURGES

Following the announcement of Spotify's exclusive deal with Joe Rogan and his leading podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, the streaming hub's stock surged 11%to close at $175.03.

This morning, Daniel Ek and Spotify announced their deal with Rogan's extremely popular podcast, which will begin airing exclusively on Spotify in September this year.

In less than six weeks, Spotify's stock has been rising consistently from the price of $122.12 the first week of April. Tuesday's spike was nearly $14 over Monday's close of $161.46.
