OFFSET AND FRIENDS GET VIRTUAL FOR A GOOD CAUSE

Multi-platinum artist and philanthropist Offset is teaming up with fellow hip-hop artists Young Thug, Rich the Kid and SAINt JHN for the OFFSET AND FRIENDS virtual benefit. Presented by Oculus Venues and Supersphere, the livestream will air from 4-6pm PT on Wednesday (4/29) and will be exclusively available via the Oculus Venues app on Oculus Quest or Oculus Go, and live on Offset’s Facebook page. All donations made during the event will support the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB).

Spearheading the initiative, Quality Control/Motown/Capitol’s Offset has donated 200k meals to the ACFB and viewers can make additional donations using the Facebook donate button on Offset’s page. For every $1 donation received, ACFB will provide four meals.

“As someone raised in metro Atlanta, this event is the perfect opportunity for me to give back to the community that has supported me throughout my childhood and my career. I am looking forward to putting on an immersive, one-of-a-kind show for my fans and joining the Atlanta Community Food Bank in their fight against hunger,” said Offset.

Sarah Fonder-Kristy, Chief Development Officer for the ACFB, adds, “The need for meals has more than doubled since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak, and the donations we receive from this event will be instrumental in our work to provide that relief.”

Additionally, avatar company Genies has partnered with the event to bring the artists together digitally through their personalized and expressive Genies. All four artists are represented by UTA, which helped organize the livestream.
