Oana Ruxandra will oversee Warner Music Group’s global digital strategy in her new role as Chief Digital Officer & EVP of Business Development.
Ruxandra, most recently interim head of Business Development alongside her post as EVP, New Business Channels/Chief Acquisition Officer, she continues to report to WMG CEO Steve Cooper.
Ruxandra and her team are charged with creating additional revenue opportunities and forging new partnerships, as well as maximizing relationships with key existing partners. At the same time, Ruxandra and the team will continue to explore commercial innovation, attracting non-traditional partners, and identifying entrepreneurial M&A opportunities for the company.

Ruxandra, who began her career in the financial industry, was SVP of Digital Strategy and Partnerships at Universal Music Group from 2016 to 2018. She spent four years at WMG prior her UMG stint, rising to VP of Digital Strategy and Business Development. She returned to WMG in 2018.
