ENTERCOM RE-SETS KROQ DJ LINEUP

Entercom has announced a new weekday programming lineup for L.A.’s KROQ, moving afternoon drive co-hosts Stryker and Kevin Klein to the 5am-10am slot formerly occupied by Kevin & Bean.

Megan Holiday will host afternoons and a search is underway for an evening host.

“Kevin and Bean set the bar high for mornings on KROQ,” said Entercom Senior Vice President of Programming Mike Kaplan. “We’re looking forward to this next chapter in the station’s history and think our listeners will enjoy getting to see a different side to Stryker and Klein as they start their day.”

Stryker has been with KROQ since 1999; Klein joined KROQ after hosting the morning show, “Kevin Klein Live” on Live 105 in San Francisco.

The new KROQ weekday lineup is as follows: Nicole Alvarez will follow Stryker and Klein in the 10am-3pm slot, “Roq n Beats with Jeremiah Red” runs 11pm to midnight; and Rubin is host from midnight to 5am.

“We thank Kevin [Ryder] for his many years of dedication, comedy and entertainment, alongside Bean, that helped build KROQ into the iconic station it is today,” said Jeff Federman, Regional President, Entercom. “Stryker and Klein have an engaged and loyal fanbase and we look forward to ushering in the future of mornings with them on the world famous KROQ.”
