Just last week, The Weeknd announced the name of his forthcoming album, After Hours. Late Tuesday evening, the Alt-R&B hero dropped the title track—it's already Top 20 at iTunes—the album cover and opened up the pre-order for his fourth studio LP, due 3/20 via XO/Republic. After Hours features previously released lead singles "Heartless" and "Blinding Lights" among its 14 tracks. Both songs have earned over 1m in activity since release, giving the album 250k in activity to date upon streeting.
The Weeknd's third studio album, Starboy, debuted at #1 in December 2016 with a first week number of 348k units (209k sales, 175m streams). Starboy has a total of 3.7m in activity to date.
In March 2018, he released the EP My Dear Melancholy, which earned 169k in its first week, also bowing at #1.
