TYLER, TARANTINO TO BE HONORED BY KODAK

The fourth annual Kodak Film Awards will take place at the American Society of Cinematographers Clubhouse on 1/29, following a Kodak press conference highlighting the resurgence of film.

Hot on the heels of a fiery Grammy performance and win, multi-talented artist/musician/producer/director/designer Tyler, The Creator (Columbia) will receive the inaugural Maverick award.

Also, Academy Award-winning director/writer/producer Quentin Tarantino will receive the Kodak Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to the industry, with all of his films having been shot on film. His ninth and most current film Once Upon A Time…In Hollywood is nominated for ten Oscars. Tarantino as well had been nominated for a Grammy, for the soundtrack of OUAT..., but that award went to A Star Is Born.

The 2020 Kodak Film Awards will also celebrate all of the highly-recognized motion pictures shot on film in 2019, such as Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood, The Irishman, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Homecoming: A Film By Beyoncé and Succession.
