Elliot Grainge's TenThousand Projects is celebrating its first #1 debut since the Bible's infamous debacle a year ago. As you may recall,6ix9ine's Dummy Boy was declared #1, then revoked by a confused, intimidated chart team.
Making matters worse, Dummy Boy was going through indie distributor Create Music Group and, as it was up against a major, had no chance of a fair fight judged by Billboard’s fickle, anti-indie arbitration.
There was no recount needed this time around, as the numbers were so strong that even the inept Billboard leadership couldn't fuck it up.
But with no change in clueless civilian leadership, the David vs. Goliath shitshow that ensued last year is bound to happen again eventually, as the Bible's "new" chart "changes" guarantee more gaming of the system with shirt sales, energy drinks and lawn signs.
