A TRIPPIE TURKEY-WEEK TOP 20

Strong streaming will propel Trippie Redd to his first #1 and largest chart total ever. Previously, A Love Letter To You 3 peaked at #3 with 84k. #2 appears up for grabs between Post Malone, coming off his AMA win and performances, and Jason Aldean. Coldplay, with their “experimental” stopgap between official albums, land in the Top 5.

We have a few caveats to serve with your turkey and giblets, however. Frozen 2 could surge after midweek viewings; streaming will likely drop over the holiday; Black Friday will begin early with more than a few retailers, just as the chart week ends; and a handful of holiday releases that now lurk just outside the Top 20—from yuletide standbys Pentatonix, Michael Bublé and Mariah Carey—could well join the fray as thoughts turn to mistletoe.

In Thanksgiving news, one of the pardoned turkeys still plans to testify.
