Hollywood's two largest PR companies, PMK*BNC and Rogers & Cowan, are merging to create a massive global integrated marketing and communications agency.

The deal brings together music clients Katy Perry, Elton John, Trisha Yearwood, The Rolling Stones and Dixie Chicks, among others. Longtime Rolling Stones/Elton publicist Fran Curtis becomes Vice-Chairman, Entertainment Division, in New York.

The new leadersip is Chairman Cindi Berger, CEO Mark Owens and Chairman Entertainment Division Alan Nierob. Shirley Hughes is Lead Brand Marketing Division President, L.A.-based Brad Cafarelli joins Curtis as Vice-Chairmen Entertainment Division, and Bill Rosenthal is COO/CFO.

The combined agency has more than 500 clients and 350+ marketing and communications staff members. The agency, now part of the Octagon Sports and Entertainment Network, will unveil a new name and will elevate additional leadership in the coming months.
