Multi-platinum 'boundary-breaking country star' Kane Brown has been selected by the Associated Press as a 2018 Breakthrough Entertainer of the Year. The RCA Nashville/Zone 4 star is one of eight entertainers spanning a range of actors, comedians and musicians whose distinguished work earned them a post on the annual year-end list. 

Brown is the only country artist to be recognized on the list, which includes Awkwafina and Ella Mai among others. The AP honor tops off Brown's stellar year along with the release of Experiment debuting at #1 and surpassing 2 billion career streams.
