Austin Daboh, who joined Spotify UK in 2016 as Senior Editor, has been promoted to U.K. Head of Shows & Editorial, replacing George Ergatoudis, who recently jumped ship to Apple Music.

The former head of the music team at BBC Radio 1Xtra, he will lead all editorial initiatives and continue to oversee Spotify's urban music team. In his former role, Daboh turned the Who We Be playlist into a live event and was central to developing relationships with artists, labels and managers.

James Foley is replacing Daboh as Senior Editor.
