NATIONAL RADIO HALL OF FAME: KID KELLY WINS POPULAR VOTE

SiriusXM’s King of All Things Pop Kid Kelly is among the 2018 inductees to the National Radio Hall of Fame. Howard Stern, Demi Lovato and Niall Horan, among others, stumped for Kid’s induction on the air and via social media; he's said to have earned in excess of 500k votes.

Other winners include Mark Levin (Spoken Word Format On-Air Personality), the other public-vote winner; Jonathon Brandmeier (Active Local/Regional, 10+ years); Jim Kerr of WAXQ (Q104.3)/New York (Longstanding Local/Regional, 20+ years); Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg of ESPN Radio (Active Network/Syndication, 10+ years); and Dr. Laura Schlessinger of SiriusXM Stars 109 (Longstanding Network/Syndication, 20+ years).

Also inducted by the HOF nominating committee: sports-talk guru Nanci Donnellan; WFAN-AM/FM (The Fan)/New York afternoon host Mike Francesa; New York's “First Lady of Radio,” Joan Hamburg, and Fred Jacobs of Jacobs Media.
