The NDAs are signed and the bids are being tendered as the derby for SONGS pubco progresses. The voracious appetite for music properties among VCs is driving the upward price spiral in this latest derby, just as it's powered such massive recent stories as the rumored purchase of Carlin by Round Hill and the $600m acquisition of Imagem by the jazzy hepcats at Steve Smith’s Concord Bicycle.
