HITS Daily Double

Lana Del Rey has overtaken Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott to land her third U.K. Official Albums #1 with Lust For Life (Polydor) as the latter settle for runner-up with Crooked Calypso (Virgin EMI). Thanks to fans honouring Chester Bennington, Linkin Park are the first U.S. band in 50 years to secure three albums inside the Top 10.

At #2, Heaton & Abbott have landed their highest charting album to date as a duo after previously notching up three #1s as part of former band, The Beautiful South.

Nine Linkin Park albums, all on Warner Bros., have entered the U.K.’s Official AlbumsTop 100 with five in the Top 40 following the tragic death of frontman Chester.
