Rock legend Steve Miller, who’s had more hits than you’ve had hot dinners, is celebrating 50 years of records by bringing his entire rockin’ oeuvre to Capitol/UMe. The resulting cavalcade of releases (not to mention a treasure trove of rock history from Miller’s personal vault) will soon be gladdening the hearts of air guitarists the world over. Naturally, pictures were snapped to commemorate this happy news. Miller joined UMG chieftain Sir Lucian Grainge for this joyous pic, which also marked Grainge’s appointment by Her Majesty the Queen as the new Pompatus of Love.

But wait—there’s more photographic goodness.

Seen in the shot below, just before UMe topper Bruce Resnikoff fired off a 20-minute solo on the spoons, are (l-r) Azoff MSG Entertainment ruler Irving Azoff, Sailor Music’s Janice G. Miller, UMG EVP Michele Anthony, Steve Miller, Resnikoff and Azoff MSG Co-President Susan Genco.
