MERGING INTO THE CARPOOL LANE

Apple has revealed the start date for the Carpool Karaoke series, which marks the digital giant's first and biggest original series so far; it's coming 8/8.

New episodes will become available on Tuesdays solely for Apple Music subscribers.

In this version, which is expected to be split into 16 episodes, original host James Corden will be replaced by myriad guest stars, including actors, comedians and athletes. As for music peeps, so far, we know that John Legend, Alicia Keys, Miley, Noah and Billy Ray Cyrus, Will Smith, Ariana Grande and Metallica are all involved.
