U.K. MIDWEEKS: THREE-WAY RACE FOR CHRISTMAS #1

As Michael Ball and Alfie Boe look set to nab the Official Albums top spot for a second week in Blighty, three contenders are battling it out for the coveted Official Singles Christmas #1. A mere 9k sales separates the entire Top 10 at halfway stage...

Long-running #1 “Rockabye” by Atlantic’s Clean Bandit is currently leading the charge. However, with just 4k sales separating it from Rag’N’Bone Man’s “Human” (Columbia), there’s plenty of play remaining.

Little Mix are at #3 midweek with new single “Touch” (Syco) rising 20 places, while Louis Tomlinson and Steve Aoki are #4 with “Just Hold On” (Syco). “When Christmas Comes Around” (Syco) by X Factor winner Matt Terry moves down to #5.

Over on the Official Albums race midweek stage, Ball and Boe's Together (Decca) has shifted another 44k combined sales since Friday, and looks set to hold on to the #1 spot for the second week running.

Elvis Presley’s The Wonder of You (Sony Music CG) is up two places to #4 and Little Mix stay at #3 with Glory Days (Syco).

The Rolling Stones are down two places to #4 with Blue & Lonesome (Polydor) and 24 HRS (RCA) by Olly Murs has stayed put at #5.
