SHEERAN FOR GLASTONBURY?

After returning to social media following a year's hiatus, the rumours over British star Ed Sheeran (Atlantic) headlining Glastonbury next year have reached fever pitch as a report from The Sun appears to confirm the news. Foo Fighters (Columbia) are also said to be joining the already confirmed Radiohead (XL) as the other two acts to headline the legendary British festival.

Sheeran, who will reportedly headline the Glasto Pyramid Stage on Saturday night, will release his highly anticipated third album next year. It's the follow up to x, which topped the U.K. and U.S. charts and has since sold 8m copies worldwide. He has been in the Glastonbury headline rumour mill for a while after playing three sold-out nights at the 80k capacity Wembley Stadium last year. Sheeran marked his return to social media this week with a pale blue square, which was replicated by his manager, Stuart Camp.

Radiohead were the first to be officially revealed for 2017’s Glastonbury in October. The band will play the Pyramid stage of the legendary British festival on Friday, 6/23. The Foo Fighters, meanwhile, are being tipped for Sunday night.
