The biggest Q4 debut by a rock band appears to be a stone-cold lock for Hardwired…to Self-Destruct, Metallica’s first release on its own Blackened Recordings. The forecast on the heavily anticipated album, dropping 11/18, is 250k. Lead track “Hardwired” hit #1 on the Mediabase Active Rock chart this week.
