The week leading up to the BRIT Awards (conveniently titled BRITs Week) is shaping up in Blighty with Critics’ Choice winner Jack Garratt (Island/Interscope), RCA heavyweights Bring Me The Horizon and Public Service Broadcasting all set for exclusive gigs. The three major labels and the independent sector will each host a night of music in aid of War Child prior to the ceremony on 2/24 at various locations across London.
David Joseph’s Universal Music U.K. will be represented during a show at Heaven (1.6k cap.) on 2/16 headlined by Garratt. Jason Iley’s Sony Music U.K. is putting on a night at Electric Brixton (1.8k cap.) on 2/18 with Sundara Karma and Zibra joining BMTH on the bill.
Indie act Public Service Broadcasting, meanwhile, will headline a show at the Brooklyn Bowl (800 cap.) in The O2 Arena on 2/19. Max Lousada’s Warner has yet to announce its line-up, but multiple BRIT Award nominee Jess Glynne is sure to feature.
You’ll find us at the bar with a pint of lager and a packet of cheese and onion crisps.
