PTX PUT THE COOL IN SCHOOL

RCA's platinum-selling, a cappella wunderkind Pentatonix have appeared in a summer TV spot for Macy's All-School A Cappella Challenge.

As back-to school season nears, the company is encouraging schools to submit a cappella versions of The Jackson 5's "I Want You Back." The competition is open to students, faculty and school staff; three winners will win $25k each.

In other education news, a shipment of deflated balls is being delivered to school athletic departments nationwide from an anonymous donor.
