A SWIFT TOUR OF THE THAMES (AND A SHOW)

Taylor Hits London for Sell-Out Hyde Park Show, and Some Boating

In London for her Hyde Park British Summer Time concert, which attracted some 65k screaming fans, Big Machine's Taylor Swift takes to the water with some famous pals. Seen just before Prime Minister David Cameron blew by on a jet ski are (l-r) Joe Jonas, Gigi Hadad, Karlie Kloss, Swift and Calvin Harris.

Swift posted this shot, among other gems, on Instagram.

The Financial Times described this weekend's Hyde Park performance as "a sparkling tribute to the power of female friendship." See the pic below for evidence.

"Her critics like to point out that — shock! — every so-called special moment of a Taylor Swift show is rehearsed," noted reviewer Laura Snapes, "but that doesn’t undermine a thing. In a post-ironic world Swift is such a brazen sentimentalist that you know she means it every time. It’s a wonderful, rare feeling to share."

Declared Glamour's Alice Howarth, Swift's "sell-out tour was everything we wanted in a concert. A set list of hit-after-hit, throwbacks to her early stuff when she was Nashville's queen of country and a stage that transformed every three songs from skylines to burning fires of hell, a sparkling arena to a neon stage that jutted out over the crowd."
