In a series of tweets this morning, Swift announced her intent to stream 1989 on Apple Music—trumpeting the news just five days before the service launches.
This follows the tech giant's recent decision to pay artists during their 90-day free trial period, after Swift's thoughtful open letter defended the value of music.
"This is simply the first time its felt right in my gut to stream my album. Thank you, Apple, for your change of heart," the chart-topping star wrote.
