SUGE KNIGHT HIT-AND-RUN: UPDATE

Police have charged hip-hop mogul Suge Knight with murder after a Thursday hit-and-run incident. Bail has reportedly been set at $2 million.

Knight is accused intentionally running over two men in his truck Thursday afternoon after an argument on a film set in Compton, killing one, the L.A. Times reports.

The deceased was identified as actor Terry Carter, a friend of Knight's whom the latter's attorney said was "in the wrong place at the wrong time."

The L.A. County Sheriff's Department is treating the case as a homicide based on statements by witnesses, who said Knight's truck hit the two men, then backed over them before leaving the scene.
