Irving sues Axl

EVERY ROSE HAS ITS THORN: Front Line is suing high-profile erstwhile client Axl Rose for $1.87 million in unpaid commissions. The suit is based on an oral agreement calling for the GNR auteur to pay Front Line 15% of receipts from overseas shows, which reportedly generated revenues of $12 million. Given Axl's doggedness and seemingly unlimited patience in the making of Chinese Democracy, this one could take a while to be resolved. (3/29a)
