MTV Movie Awards Goes Viral

POPCORN POWER: MTV is turning over its 19th annual 2010 MTV Movie Awards to fans by allowing them to decide the nominees for the show, which airs Sunday, June 6, at 9 p.m. ET/PT from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City. Voting starts today at noon ET/9 a.m. PT, where fans can log onto www.movieawards.mtv.com to vote in 13 categories until April 9, when they can choose their favorites from the final list of nominees, May 11-June 5. New categories this year include Best Ass-Kicking Star, Best Scared-As Sh*t Performance and Global Superstar. For the first time, voting will be expanded to fans worldwide through their region’s respective MTV sites. (3/29p)
