MTV UPS DOLGEN: Longtime MTV programming exec Lauren Dolgen has been promoted to SVP MTV Series Development, West Coast, reporting to Head of Series Development Liz Gateley. Dolgen will oversee west coast reality programming for the network and manage the staff. Dolgen first joined VH1 in 1997 as a production associate on Behind the Music, before becoming a production coordinator. She’s been involved in the production, development and creation of shows including Jackass, Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Best Dance Crew, Viva La Bam, Wildboyz, Parental Control and the ground-breaking documentary series 16 and Pregnant as well as its spin-off series, Teen Mom, MTV’s highest-rated new launch in over a year. She taught Johnny Knoxville everything he knows about pain. (5/24a)
