Schur's Exploits
SCHUR ‘NUF: Jordan Schur has been one busy multimedia executive. The Hollywood Reporter just named him one of the “five people to know in independent film" (right) with two of the movies under his Mimran Schur Pictures imprint premiering at the recent Toronto Film Festival, including Stone (with Robert DeNiro and Edward Norton) and Henry’s Crime (Keanu Reeves, Vera Farmiga). He’s currently on the road, accompanying his longtime clients Limp Bizkit on a sold-out headlining tour of Europe, with Russia and South America next, and a new LP to be announced. He’s also currently launching Aaron Smith, formerly of Shwayze, recently profiled on industry site Crazed Hits with a sizzling mixtape making its way onto influential blogs, while attracting major label interest. His first effort will come out on Jordan’s Suretone through Fontana. (9/27p)
