Aretha Album a Wal Mart Exclusive

QUEEN OF SOUL AND WAL-MART: Aretha Franklin’s new album, Aretha: A Woman Falling Out of Love, the first on her own Aretha’s Records label, will be available exclusive at Wal Mart stores and Walmart.com on May 3. Fans can preorder the album now on Walmart.com. The digital version of the album will be offered on iTunes, Amazon and other online retailers June 3. Franklin’s 38th studio album includes ballads, blues and gospel, as well as the first single, “How Long I’ve Waited,” which she wrote and produced. The release also features, as a bonus track, for the first time on a physical release, her 2009 Presidential inaugural performance of “My Country ‘Tis of Thee” as well as a cover of Alan and Marilyn Bergman's “The Way We Were.” (4/25p)
