Weiss Changes Underway?

CHANGES AFOOT? Look for Barry Weiss to begin those much-anticipated moves in his Island Def Jam/Universal Motown Republic Group empire next week, starting with a reportedly scheduled Sylvia Rhone meeting. There is also talk about launching a new, east coast-based 360-degree entity as well as hiring a new Def Jam head. Is Steve Rifkind’s name being bandied about for a possible post? Action to come.
