Adele Cancels 2011 Shows

ADELE ON THE MEND: Adele announced this morning that she is being forced to cancel all her remaining live dates and promotional appearances through the end of the year to undergo surgery to alleviate the current issues with her throat. Though a full recovery is expected, doctors have ordered her to rest her voice and completely recuperate before looking to schedule any work commitments. These include October dates in Atlantic City, Durham, Nashville, Orlando, Miami, Atlanta and Austin and scheduled November shows in the U.K. Now, the question becomes, will she be able to perform at this year's Grammys, where she is expected to be the odds-on favorite in several major categories.
