Turns out the 25-year old has had a career on Broadway, starring in such musicals as Spring Awakening and the most recent revival of Godspell. He’s also appeared in films like It's Complicated, 17 Again and Down in the Valley. and "I have been exploring my taste and myself as an artist, and through that, communicating things that are important to me and things that I wanna say," said Silas, er, Parrish. "Music that takes you to another place, and has some sort of deeper impact on what you do with your day, with your life, with your moment-to-moment decisions—that's the music I'm interested in."
