CIRCA SURVIVE THRIVE: Veteran Philly area rock band Circa Survive, who released their last album, 2010’s Blue Sky Noise, on Atlantic, are going the independent route in conjunction with the group’s Vector Management. The Nick Stern-managed band’s new release, Violent Waves, out today, is #1 on iTunes Alternative and #3 album overall, with more than 8,000 sales through its web store alone prior to next week’s chart debut.
