Strang, Roberts Salaries Upped by WMG

STRANG IN PARADISE: Warner/Chappell Chairman/CEO Cameron Strang and CFO Brian Roberts have inked new employment agreements with Warner Music Group, according to a Friday filing with the SEC. Effective January 1, Strang will receive $2.25 million, up from $1.5 million, in his new post overseeing WMG's West Coast labels. Strang earned $2.3 million in Warner’s fiscal year ended Sept. 30, with a bonus of $807,500 on top of his $1.5 million salary. Roberts' salary in fiscal 2012 was $537,000 with a bonus of $533,000. Former Chairman/CEO Lyor Cohen, who left the company on Sept. 30, was WMG’s highest-paid employee last year, earning $14 million, including a base salary of $3 million, a $2.5 million bonus and an $8.5 million severance payment.
