IDJ Ups Wyskoarko to SVP Business & Legal Affairs

ISLAND UPS LEGAL EAGLE: Nicole Wyskoarko has been promoted to SVP Business & Legal Affairs for Island Def Jam Music Group by UMG EVP Business & Legal Affairs, East Coast Labels Steve “Good” Gawley “Miss Molly.” Wyskoarko had been VP Business & Legal Affairs at the label since 2011, and will now oversee negotiating and structuring recording agreements, label deals and joint ventures, manufacturing and distribution agreements, as well as agreements concerning new media. The 11-year label veteran started an internship in 2002 at IDJMG after graduating USC while finishing her legal studies at Brooklyn Law School. She has been responsible for managing the label's agreements and ventures with Justin Bieber, Ne-Yo, Rick Ross and Young Jeezy, among others. She was honored last year by ASCAP with their fourth annual Women Behind the Music Award. (2/26a)
