GLOBAL DOMINATION: According to this morning's IFPI Digital Music Report, Adele and Carly Rae Jepsen topped the list of albums and singles best-sellers, respectively. Here’s the complete albums list: Adele’s 21 (8.3m), Taylor Swift’s Red (5.2m), One Direction’s Up All Night (4.5m) and Take Me Home (4.4m), Lana Del Rey’s Born to Die (3.4m), P!nk’s The Truth About Love (2.6m), Rod Stewart’s Merry Christmas, Baby (2.6m), Rihanna’s Unapologetic (2.3m), Mumford & Sons’ Babel (2.3m) and Maroon 5’s Overexposed (2.2m). On the singles side, Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” (12.5m) was followed by Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” (11.8m), Psy’s “Gangnam Style” (9.7m), fun.’s “We are Young” (9.6m), Maroon 5’s “Payphone” (9.1m), Michel Telo’s “Ai Se Eu Te Pego” (7.2m), Nicki Minaj’s “Starships (7.2m), Maroon 5’s “One More Night “ (6.9m) and Flo Rida’s “Whistle” (6.6m) and “Wild Ones” (6.5m).
