iTUNES CHARTS: The Top 10s on Good Friday morning serve as an up-to-the-minute snapshot of who’s truly hot in early spring—starting with Justin Timberlake, who holds onto #1 on the album side in week two, while #5 single “Suit & Tie” is showing it also has legs (presumably perfectly tailored as well), with “Mirrors” hanging around at #10. Also doubling up are P!nk, Imagine Dragons—whose surging “Radioactive” is nipping at the heels of P!nk’s chart-topping “Give Me a Reason”—and Bruno Mars. Tuesday releases make up the rest of the Top 5 albums, with the debuting Strokes is at #7. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ follow-up single “Can’t Hold Us” is poised to pass the mighty “Thrift Shop.” Leading the next wave are Fall Out Boy, as pre-orders lift the upcoming Save Rock and Roll to #8, and the Ryan Seacrest-ignited Nickelodeon star Ariana Grande, whose newly minted single holds strong at #6 after topping the chart earlier this week. And at the risk of sounding like a broken record, RCA is still killing it on both charts, with three of the Top 10 albums and four of the Top 10 singles. Nice way to start Easter weekend for Messrs.’ Edge, Corson and Riccitelli, whose prayers have been answered, so to speak. (3/29a)
