YOUR WEEKLY MARKETSHARE: The mouse has roared, as Selena Gomez’s chart-topping debut and the #3 Teen Beach soundtrack combined for 150k to push the Ken Bunt-led Disney Music Group to the head of the pack in the new-release competition. Close behind was Republic, which is still riding Florida Georgia Line, one of the year’s biggest breakthroughs and #5 on the album chart, while getting an added boost from Young Money/Cash Money’s Rich Gang, which bowed at #9. Those two, plus an assortment of other contributors, kept Monte Lipman’s label close. Nobody else placed more than one LP on the leaderboard, which goes a long way toward explaining why the next five entries are bunched so tightly. Next week, look for IGA to make a strong move behind Robin Thicke, whose mega-smash “Blurred Lines” has been doing wonders for the company’s TEA for the last couple of months. His album of the same name will bow at #1 next week and is over-performing in the early going. (7/31a)
