Polly party

A CELEBRATION OF POLLY ANTHONY'S LIFE was held last night at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. What was originally conceived as an intimate gathering turned into a massive outpouring of love for Ms. Anthony from friends and former colleagues. Many of the attendees had flown in from New York just for this special event. Superheavyweights like former Epic Chairman Dave Glew and wife Ann, Jimmy Iovine, Rob Light, Greg Thompson, David Cohen, Rick Krim, Ken Hertz, Glen Brunman, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, Michele Anthony, Jim Guerinot, Steve Berman, Missy Worth, Steve Kingston, Andy Schuon, Jeff Jampol, Bill Bennett, CBS Radio’s Kevin Weatherly, Clear Channel’s John Ivey, Steve Einzig, Bruce Resnikoff, Andy Slater, Jerry Greenberg, actor Jimmy Smits and mega-songwriter Diane Warren. They intermingled with former labelmates Joel Klaiman, Hilary Shaev, Jon Polk (Epic GM under Polly), Dan Hubbert, Rick Bisceglia, Jacqueline Saturn, David Massey, Matt Marshall, and Pete and Samantha Giberga, as well as artists Tom Morello, Mikey Einziger from Incubus, Macy Gray (who performed). Also on hand, of course, were Polly’s family members. All in attendance were treated to the constant clinking of glasses in memory of the great achievements and wonderful memories that accumulated during Polly’s three decades in the music business.
