ICYMI: Can print journalism survive? Not if we have anything to do with it. But we do still manage to put out a physical publication, and the most recent issue featured Interscope’s Lady Gaga on the cover. Gaga, of course, scored a #1 debut with her ARTPOP album, and her hosting/performing gig on SNL garnered great ratings. Still, we imagine that appearing on the front of our sorry rag made her wish for a meat veil.

Our HITS Contents Dungeon Prisoner of the Week, meanwhile, is Columbia ruler Rob Stringer. With One Direction now out and certain to be a giant, Stringer is opening one big holiday present. Coming on the heels of Daft Punk’s massive zeitgeist hit and Grammy buzz, it’s further demonstration of Stringer’s artful blend of mass appeal and creative cool. Though when it comes to sitting in the harsh spotlight of our publication, Stringer probably wishes we’d cool it. (11/25p)
