DON’T STOP, RESTART: It’s official—Christine McVie, who “retired” from Fleetwood Mac in 1998, will rejoin the band on a full-time basis. That means Big Mac’s most celebrated lineup will be restored to its full complement (with Christine’s ex John McVie having successfully completed his cancer treatments), and the five veterans plan to write and record an album of new material, their first since 2003’s Christine-less Say You Will, released when they were still a major-label band. With her return, could Fleetwood Mac possibly become a major-label band again? (1/29a)
