Sarah McLachlan signs with Verve

AGAIN, WITH VERVE: Singer/songwriter Sarah McLachlan has inked a new deal with David Foster's Verve. The first fruit of that pact, Shine On, finds the Grammy-winning, multiplatinum artist reuniting with longtime producer Pierre Marchand, who helmed several of her biggest hits, as well as studio titan Bob Rock; it's due out on 5/6. She'll perform a new song from the set, "Beautiful Girl" on Leno tonight. This April, the Canadian chanteuse will peform a Live at the Vineyard concert in Cali's Napa Valley. (1/30a)
