GROSS RECEIPTS: Bloomberg News has presented a segment introducing STRZ - The Label chief Nick Gross; watch it here. The entrepreneur/musician is busily developing—in conjunction with industry vets Eric Baker and Cindy Baker—alt-pop band Open Air Stereo, which drops its Neal Avron (Fall Out Boy, Linkin Park)-produced EP shortly; and popster Bean (whose recent syncs include national Bud Light, Frito Lay and Mitsubishi spots), among others. If that weren't enough, Gross also plays drums for Open Air Stereo. All of which makes us think we could be using our time more productively. (8/27a)
